I haven't heard of coconut oil before for that. But I take some great vitamins/minerals that are vegan certified. I have so much more energy from my vitamins. I feel it when i forget to take them. There is a multi-vit, multi-mineral, 2 calciums, superfood antioxidant, digestive enzym. All keeps me regular and full of energy. I sleep more restful also. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want more info on the vitamins. i could email you info on them. L.

I use it on my face at night and it is awesome. Cheaper than Clarins and with no chemicals. buy the organic ones at the health food store. really good. I don't use it in cooking but I'd love some advice on how to get more energy, I am exhausted.

Hey L.,
Before I tell you what I use, which works wonders, I have a couple of questions:
Do you take a good, reputable, complete daily vitamin?
Are you still nursing?
The answers to these questions will help as I can recommend a variety of great products. I live on energy-producing products and have found several healthy ones that work without side-effects or sugar!
Let me know,

Hi L.,

I use coconut oil for cooking. I buy it at www.mercola.com. Dr Mercola has a write up about it here:

The many benefits of coconut oil are finally reaching the mainstream.

Benefits like:

Promoting your heart health
Promoting weight loss when and if you need it
Supporting your immune system health
Supporting a healthy metabolism
Providing you with an immediate energy source
Helping to keep your skin healthy and youthful looking
Supporting the proper functioning of your thyroid gland

Hope this helps : )

I know a lot of people who use coconut oil. It's really supposed to be great. Don't know what area you're in but you can get a book on it at Peter Gillham's store in Hollywood area. Lots of healthy uses.
