I've had-overall-a positive experience with Primrose of Forest Creek. There were just minor things that bugged me...breakfast menu would change without notice and it seemed like the kids were getting froot loops quite a bit as opposed to muffins, fruit, etc...The Director of the facility is rarely seen...and the daily record of activities are not carefully filled out-think they just do them real quick so unless you talk to the teachers you don't really get an accurate idea of what happened.

But overall my son learned new things and seemed to have fun.

Good luck.

Hi R.,

I have an in-home day care. I have worked with children for many years from 0-12 yrs old. I have a 2 yr old daughter. I do alot of the same activities as day care centers. We like to play games, sing songs, read books, act like animals and make their sounds, color and paint, play out side (swing set and chalk), we do flash cards with abc's, objects, and colors (which helps them learn faster and build their vocabulary)We do lot of fun things to keep them busy and learn at the same time. I love children and want to provide them a fun, loving place to play and learn. I am CPR and first aid certified and am listed with the state to provide in home care. I would love for you to come over and meet with me and see our playroom. Let me know if you are interested and would like more information. I have space avilable for full or part time care.

Just FYI I have a friend who works for the FBI and she said that the web cams are not safe. They are being hacked into right now by computer hackers. They can watch your child at anytime they feel like it. There are alot of schools that are putting the web cams on hold. It gives you a really sick feeling that someone would be watching your child. It freaked me out! You might check out Childtime on Hedgcoxe as well. They have one of the best infant rooms. Older women work it and have been at the school 5 to 7 years each. Childtime use to be Gerber the babyfood and they renamed it. They are nationwide.

Hi! I have some insite on Primrose School of Forest Creek!!! It is a wonderful environment. The owner is on-site every day and is very involved with the day to day operations. She has a great office staff that cares about the students and that they are safe and learning as much as possible each and everyday.

Let me know if you have any other questions...

My daughter is 16 months old and has been attending TLC since March of this year. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with the facility and the staff. I visited quite a few other daycares in Plano and also tried a home daycare which turned out to be a nightmare. They have webcam so you can watch your child, this was a key factor for me. I am a single mom and have very little family and friends so I was so scared to leave her with anyone. It did take her some time to adjust but her teachers are so loving and patient with both of us, that now she has blossomed into a new child! She loves it there and she loves to interact with the other children. It is so reassuring to know she is happy and safe.
I also visited the Legacy Learning Center and have heard positive things about it. A friend of mine works with the children in your sons age group and she is a wonderful woman, her name is Betty if you happen to go to check the place out make sure you meet her.
Good luck and I hope I have helped a little. I don't usually give referrals but I am very pleased with TLC. By the way, my daughter is at the TLC on Democracy.

Our 6-month old daughter is at Primrose at Forest Creek and we are pleased. She was at the Cambridge Academy before, which I do not recommend to anyone who doesn't want to feel guilty for HAVING to work and leave their child in the care of someone else (Cambridge was VERY BAD to our daughter - DO NOT GO THERE). She loves to go to Primrose because they do so many activities with the babies. When I come to pick her up she is always happy, clean, and fed. She smiles and flaps her arms (her new thing - flapping like a bird) when I leave her there and does the same thing when she sees me at the end of the day. I couldn't feel better about her care.
