Recommendations on Travel Boosters/high Chairs

I am wondering if anyone has any portable/travel high chairs or boosters that they just love! I am looking to have a good, versatile chair that we can easily take with on trips and when eating out at restaurants/pub/etc that may not have safe high chairs. I bought the Fisher Price booster and Chicco clamp on, foldable travel chair, but can't decide on either one. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks

Target Brand Diapers

Have any of you tried these? For boys? I am pregant with my 2nd. For my son I always used Pampers because I found Huggies leaked more with him. Recently my girlfriend mentioned that her sister uses Target brand for her son and loves them. So I was just looking for other opinions about them. Thanks.

Bladder or Yeast Infection?

I have had both un the past, at one time or another. If it's a yeast infection I know now that i can treat it with OTC medication so no office visit and co-pay. We have a new ins plan this year only offered to employees of Blue Cross and it has a $1,000 deductible per family member. Don't want to see a dr unless absolutely necessary now. So can anyone who's recently had either remind me how each feels.

Seeking Location for Photo Development

the catch is that I want either matte or lustre... NO GLOSSY development. I've tried the places local to me and I got tired of driving around looking and wasting gas! I have tried Target, Rite Aid and Walgreens. Does anyone have any recommendations? I live in Covina and would be willing to drive within a 10 mile radius. Thank you :) Oops! Let me add this one to my request.. I do NOT do anything online. Had my credit card used once and that was the end of that. No more. :)

Introducing Solids to Daughter, Digestion Is Tough

I have a 5 month old daughter just starting out on some solids. We prepare fresh fruits, veggies, oatmeal and rice. She also enjoys cherrios and graham crackers. Obviously her digestion has changed, but should she labor with bowel movements? I think this may be the reason she was up crying every two hours tonight. Anyone have the same experience and any suggestions? I will discuss with our family doctor next visit.

Seeking an Eye Doctor in Avon, Indy or Brownsburgh Area

Hello Ladies, I am looking for an Eye Doctor for my 7 yr-old kid. Last year, I took him to an Eye doctor who told me that he is nearsighted, but he did not need glasses at that time. The school keeps telling me that he is having problems with his vision, and I have noticed some problems there as well. He trips too much, he is rubbing hie eyes constantly, he bumps onto things sometimes, and he watches TV or play at the PC too closed. So, if you ladies know about a good eye doctor or ophtalmologist (I don't know if an specialist is...

I'm starting to worry, the knot was not three prior to the bruise, I...

Natural Remedies for Red, Itchy Rash

My 21 month old boy has this large red rash on his bum/lower back. It started out small and didn't bother him and it was getting better but just this morning I got him out of bed and it is much worse and he is itching it now. The red areas are slightly raised and some areas are peeling. We are letting him run around with out his diaper as much as possible and we use Seventh Generation diapers so I know it isn't a sensitivity to his diaper. So, far we have just been using Earth's Best diaper rash onitment. I am wondering if any one has...

Am I Ready to Potty-train My 19 Month Old and Wean Her from Her Bottle???

My daughter is 19 months old and only takes a bottle 3 times in a day; once when she wakes up, second before her nap, (which I feel helps her to sleep longer), and the third before she goes to bed for the night. My daycare provider has taken the liberty of weaning her off of her afternoon bottle and told me she did so about three weeks later. Should I follow suit? When I pick her up from daycare it seems that she's always tired and grumpy because of the lack of sleep she got during her nap that afternoon. I love her daycare lady and am...

Experiences at Target

I just had an awful experience at Target this past weekend. I was trying to return stuff I had gotten from my baby shower and spent an hour at the customer service desk trying to match gift reciepts with the items I was returning and then had over 10 items that I didn't have reciepts for that they would not let me return even for store credit!! I was told I could pick 2 (A YEAR) to get store credit for with my drivers license or I could exchange the items for like items of the exact same price from the same department! So bath stuff I...

Silly Question - Quick Trips to Target, Etc

Fellow moms and I are discussing something (and a few dads are chiming in....) When you need to run into Target or a similar establishment to grab a few things and you are alone except for the kids, what do you do with the small baby? Leave him/her in the car seat and just carry the car seat in and put the seat in one of the carts? Haul the huge heavy stroller out and push him/her in that? Just carry him/her in your arms?

Hitting the Milestones

My daughter is 3 months old and was only 4lbs at birth, now she is just under 10lbs. Does anyone else have a premie and when did they hit thier milestones such as holding things in thier hands and holding themselves up when on thier tummy? When I try to put something in my daughters hand she can't hold it,like her hand is too small. And when I put a teething ring in her mouth she couldnt bite that either, like her mouth is still too small. She seems to be hitting all of her developmental milestones but not the physical ones. The dr says...
