Our 14 yr old terrier mix has had a heart murmur for a couple years. It makes her sort of cough and choke when she gets excited. Lately it seems to be getting worse. My 9 year old son wants to walk to his friend's house after school on Friday. He would be walking with his friend & the distance is probably less than a mile.
