Stroller and Car Seat

Try craigslist first, lots of people buy carseats because not everyone can afford new. If that doesn't work then sell it at the Roseville ECFE stuff sale in the spring. Anything that is priced right sells there.

you can donate the carseat & base to unique thrift store in your area.

Have you tried craigslist.org or ebay? You could even have the buyer pick the items up, saving you a trip in the car... A friend sold her stroller on ebay and got nearly the same price that she'd paid for her stroller when it was new.

check www.FromYoursToMine.com. They hold bi-annual kids sales, and if you are not in their area, they have three more sales listed that you can check out.
I think they all take car seats and stroller systems.

I'll be putting mine on Craigslist so you might want to check that out.

You may want to try a do-it-yourself consignment sale like Just Between Friends. You price your own stuff and get 70%. They'll take the car seat system, but you have to have the manual and sign a waiver that it has never been in an accident. Check it out at www.jbfsale.com. Good luck!

You can browse to see what similar items are selling for. You'll get the most money for your stroller here. Places like Once Upon A Child are great, but they take a percentage of the sale. You need to add a picture to Craigslist for the best result, but it's a great way to go. They buyer even comes to pick up the item from you!

I think it is going to be hard for you to sell the carseat part. Most people don't want to buy a second hand carseat... and I think if you talk to "professionals" they will discourage it. Maybe since it's summertime, you could try selling it at a garage sale (have one yourself or find a friend that is having one). Otherwise, you just might have to toss it and give the stroller to Once Upon a Child.
