I agree, it would be very fun to have your girlfriends work with you....just be very careful!!! If you cherish their friendship you need to lay down some very stringent "ground rules" in advance in writing. The last thing you want to do is lose your friends over a "silly" business. Have some really candid conversations about how you will handle conflict or disagreement among you, who is the real boss?, and other possible uncomfortable situations. I think it sounds fantastic!! I've been a businesswoman most of my life and have a lot of experiences with this! Go for it, girl!!! Do it and do it with zest!!

The first thing we did when we started our company LLC was to get a good lawyer and accountant. They walked us through the start up process. Yes, the investment (less than $1000) was worth it. It is NOT worth going cheap doing it yourself, making a mistake that you are not aware of and end up paying taxes through the nose!!

I have started a group to help women promote their businesses. This helps you promote and others. I have a jewelry business and Herbalife and was trying to find good was to advertise. Most places I could not afford and looked into networks but they are too expensive for me so I have started a group. We have about 10 people on the list.
