I am 8 months pregnant and am looking for a massage therapist in the Edmond area that has a table with a cutout for my tummy so I can lay face down. I have called several spas without any luck.

What can I do next?

native touch. she is amazing. you get to pick your own personal essential oil blend, if you'd like, and she keeps it on file if you ever want that blend again. she knows alot about pregnancy, too. she was inexpensive, but -downside- she is a talker! wonderful massage though. she used to be on broadway around 3rd street, but i think she may have moved.

Eden downtown has a pregnancy table. See if they'll have Jared come, he's fantastic.

Hi R.!
My name is Ashley. I wanted to let you know that I do pregnancy massages for an obgyn in north OKC if you are interested. I have worked for her for 5 years and I have a pregnancy cushion that goes on top of the massage table so that you can lay on your belly... I LOVED it when I was pregnant!!! The OB that I work for gives each of her OB patients a gift certificate to get a massage and she lets me use one of her rooms to do them. If you would like to set up an appointment let me know and I'll give you directions to the office. I charge $50 an hour.
Thanks!
Ashley

This may be a little off from your original request, but I know a chiropractor (also does acupuncture) in Bethany (7433 NW 23rd Street) that treats pregnant women as well as infants. His name is Dr. Brian Predmore. For for information, his web site is www.drpredmore.com.

You can also just ask whatever massage therapist you go to, ANYWHERE, if they are certified or have experience with prenatal massage. I had a therapist who did it, and all we did differently was she put me on my side instead of on my tummy. She also put a pillow between my legs, and then one under my abdomen to support me. It was great! (Of course...this wasn't here, it was in England. But I'm sure there has to be someone in Edmond who can do that!)
