Bowel Movements...sorry, Not Trying to Be Yucky!

Hello fellow Mamasource moms! Sorry, not trying to be gross...but I need some input on this. My son only has bowel movements about 2 times a week, on a good week! Since he has been potty trained, he doesn't like to go "big potty" very much. He has to get to a point where he can't hold it before he goes. I have given him raisins, apple-prune juice, grapes on a consistent basis with no effect! Does anyone know of anything I can give him that will make him more regular? I know his tummy hurts from not being regular! Any input would...

My 3 Year Old Is Constipated

Hi there, I have a problem that I need help with. I have a 3 year old girl who has been potty trained, but is having trouble going potty for #2. She states that she holds it in because it hurts. I give her prune juice every morning and also she loves to eat dried prunes, but is doesn't seem to help her, she is constatnly afraid that it will hurt. I have explained to her that she needs to let it out, but no success yet. Does anybody have any suggestions? I would truly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Daughter with Green Stool

Okay, I am not trying to be gross or too graphic here, but I have a question about my daughter's stool. She is 2 1/2 and has had green stool for about 3 days now. It is green like Shreck green. It has been softer than normal. It isn't the entire bowel movement that is green, just about half of it. It doesn't smell any worse than normal and she hasn't been complaining of a tummy ache until tonight. Her belly ache lasted for about 10 minutes and got better after some crackers and sprite and lots of TLC. We haven't changed her diet or...

Potty Traning Advise for My Very Stubborn 4 Year Old:-)

Hello, I am having a such a battle with my 4 year old daughter. She does not want to go on the potty! She has done it a couple times and knows how to do it, but just won't! I have tried everything...stickers, treats, toys, bribing her and even just putting her in underpants...she doesn't care, she just goes and changes them. Nothing is working and when I ask her why she says she wants to wait until she is bigger. So I am looking for any advise to help with this battle.
