Hi moms, I know this might sound silly but I am just looking for a little support/advice or info...I am almost 7 weeks pg and today I woke up and I really do not feel pg at all. My symptoms have been pretty subdued compared to my first pg...Now i do not know if this is because I have a 8 month to keep up with or because they are truly less...Anyway i have had some morning sickness and evening sickness, my boobs did feel tender but do not today at all, which is worrying me, and I am peeing a lot....I must sound so annoying right now, but I am so afraid that something will go wrong with this little baby. I would just die. I am starving all the time though! its just that today, nothing applies. Am I worried for no reason? has anyone else had this happen? My friend just found out her baby had no heartbeat and stopped developing at 6 weeks and she thought she was 12 weeks along. I am so nervous. thank you for any advice you have!

If you are worried, just make an apointment to see if they can fit you in for a checkup and to see if they hear the baby's heartbeat. But i wouldn't worry too much, your body just may be used to the hormones. I had an 8 week apointment for my first sonagram so you can see if you can go in early.

Hi there! I remember speaking to a pregnant friend (when I was pregnant) about this- it seems that we both got these "pulses" of hormones and felt so different at times, and then things would settle and just feel normal at other times. It is totally normal! Think of your body as a house under construction- sometimes there are jackhammers and things thudding around, and sometimes there's just painting and quieter things going on- but there's always something happening (even if it is not obvious)

Hi K.,
Just wanted to reassure you that this all sounds normal. Every pregnancy is different; believe me, I know, I've been pregnant 10 times! The frequent peeing is very typical. Also, I found that after my first pregnancy, the breast tenderness was very much lessened and would sometimes come and go. It's easy to worry, especially when you know someone who has experienced loss, and you may want to have your OB schedule an ultrasound just for your own peace of mind. But it doesn't really sound like you have much to worry about. With that being said, if all the symptoms of pregnancy vanish and don't return, there might be a little more cause for worry, and in that case I would go for the ultrasound, since it's still too early for them to hear the heartbeat with just the doppler. I'll be praying for you.

I hope I can help ease your worry. as a mom to 2 children and had 1 m/c... I can sympathize with your worry. but be assured it is normal for symptoms to come and go. if you are really worried, call your dr. see if they can get you in for an early u/s to ease your worry.

by the way, being pregnant, you are allowed to worry whether you feel you have a reason or not.

I am so very sorry for your friend, as I said I did lose a baby of my own, so lots of hugs and prayers to your friend. but don't let that worry you more, and thinking it may happen to you...

call your dr. that is what they are there for!

Best of luck!
D.

first let me start by saying congratulations! I have 2 little boys that are 18 months apart and I know when i got pregnant with #2 i expected to feel all the same things i did with #1. Well i didnt and worried all 40 weeks that something was wrong... none the less everything was just fine and I had another beautiful little boy. Remember you are pre occupied now having a little boy to tend to so you arent going to feel everything you did while prego with him. the best advice i can give you is just relax and enjoy this time! Call your Dr and ask to see them for a check up, but I am sure you are going to be just fine. If you think about it most people don't even know they are pregnant this early so not showing signs is completely normal! Get some rest, and enjoy your pregnancy!

I think you will be ok (and you little one too)! Being pregnant can be so stressful! And second a pregnancy is so stressful because we compare everything up with our first pregnancy! But its never the same :) with my first one, i was so sick, i could barely eat anything, i was constantly nausous. I couldnt even drive to work without getting sick. But my second one, i was sick for a day or so and then never again. Some days you will feel different (yeahhh! a break from all the yucky symptoms) I hope everything goes well and Congratulations! Keep us posted!

Hello K., well first off congradulations and you and i must be at right about the same due date, i found out on 5/26 that i am expecting my third child and i completely understand where you are coming from. Every pregnancy is different, every woman's pregnancy is different and i too have found out that strawberries do not agree with my stomach which completely upset me since strawberries are my absolute favorite fruit. They've made me sick three times so far, even when its strawberry yogurt they still do not agree with me. And like you there are days when i feel like i cannot get in enough snacks, i honestly do not rememeber "grazing" this soon. I thought that was much later on. But then there are days like today and i had a lite breakfest, some lunch and its almost 7 and i'm just thinking about dinner, so it comes and goes. Hang in there, don't think anything bad. I know i'm looking forward to my first internal ultra sound next week. Take care of yourself and your little one.

I totally understand you. I had miscarriage the first time I got pregnant so when I had it the second time, it was totally full of worries. I tried to be okay but negative thoughts just kept on popping even up to the minute of giving birth... My son is healthy and okay so the worries turned out futile. I learned my lesson, linger on the positve and be with people who can help you emotionally. Stay strong, stay healthy, and believe that everything will be alright. Easier said than done, I know. But trust me, it helps.
