My son is turning 2 in the summer and we are wondering what would be a good gift/s to get him. He is pretty active and loves wheels, he will flip his stroller and play with the wheels, he loves to sit in the car with daddy and play with the steering wheel. He loves my cell phone. lol. We already bought him a wagon last year and has a step two car /stroller we push him in, and he has a another one that you push him in that eventually is like a big wheel type bike. He has tons of books and want to get him a bookshelf for them but the hubby said that really wont be a gift for my son and more for me for organization reasons. lol
He has a few cars bigger ones but doesn't really play with those. Only thing I can think of are legos but not sure what else to get him. He doesn't have any toys for outside either so I dunno. Help...........
P.S. For the outside toys something that he wont outgrow so fast. I have seen some tiny slides and those are so expensive and look like they will only use them for a short time. My son is on the taller side so something that will give us use for a little while would be great. thanks

What can I do next?

Sounds like you've said it yourself - outside toys. A sand and water table is fun (Step 2 has a great one). Toddler swing set maybe or something to climb on. Or an outdoor playhouse.

If you're looking for a "big gift," I recommend a train table. We got my son a Nilo brand table at about that age. Great investment, very sturdy, and my kids use it all the time even though they've moved past trains. Also, you can buy longer legs for the train as kids get older if you want to keep it as a game/building table.

Sandbox (or table, whatever works for your yard) is another idea. He's at the perfect age for it and it will be fun for years. Since he likes wheels, maybe a big dump truck to go with it.

my daughter turned two in April. One of her fav gifts was a parachute for outdoors. So simple but hours of fun!

ride on's are so much fun at this age. Other great things are a basketball net and basketball, or a Magna doodle is always fun for every where. Trains are always fun too. My little guy at the age of 2 loved the Shake and go Cars and My 1 year old plays with them now. If you can't decide take him to TOys r US you'll have a cart full in no time.
