So What Happened?

Thank you for all your responses! My husband and I decided to try the formula, and wipes. We liked the wipes but our daughter didn't like the formula. As for the diapers we are just going to keep using pampers. Thanks again!

I did not read all 20 replies so if I'm repeating I apologize!
I have used the Target brand wipes that are supposed to be imitation of Pampers and I love them. They are so soft and gentle, and I thought they were exactly the same (if not softer!) than the Pampers.
I haven't tried the diapers.
I tried the formula once, the imitation of Enfmamil. It made my son spit up every time he ate. He never spit up when using Enfamil. I even kept using it for a week or so to see if it was just the switch that was the problem. But the day I switched back it stopped. So that didn't work for us.

Hope that helps!

I used the target formula and never had any problems, love the wipes, hate the diapers...I like the walmart diapers (the supreme) but if I can't make it to Walmart, I spend a little extra and get Pampers (the purple wrapper)

I've tried the target brand diapers and they were awful. They leaked and were not durable. I didn't use the wipes or formula - but the diapers were horrible.

Walmart band diapers - parent's choice I think - was the best "cheap"- brand that I used. They didn't leak and they were half the price of Pampers or Huggies. Hope this helps!

I have used the baby wipes (for our now 2yr old.) and they are very good. I think I got the ones that was for Sensitive skin and the thick ones. I used the daipers with my 14 year old and I didn't like them, never tired them with our 8yrs and 2 yrs. Good luck. C.

Hey M.,

I have been using Target Brand diapers for over a year now. It took me a while to figure out they are the absolute cheapest. We love them. My son has never had a problem with sensitive skin, so we've tried all kinds of brands, mostly with me looking for the cheapest. Target is it! They are $13.79 for a big box of 80-90 diapers, depending on the size. The only thing to get used to is that the tabs don't stretch. But we don't find that to be a problem, so long as you buy the correct size. Hope that helps!

I have and am using all and love them. My SIL's father in law is a pediatrician and he said there is no difference between the generic and the brand name formula. As for the diapers I like the target bran a million times more than pampers. I (My baby, hahah)have had more accidents with pampers or huggies than with the target brand and they are muuuuch cheaper. Walmart's Parent's choice formula even carries an organic line.

Hi M.

I had a little boy in my day care that used target diapers and his mom liked them for the day only, she said they where not as good at night when he "go" more, she said they did not pull the wetness away as well as name brand diapers. I don't care for target wipes because they have something called nitropropane in them and that has been known to cause problems with baby bottoms, it can cause a rash or an infection. As far as their formula, I have never used it or known anyone that has tried it, have you checked to see if what is in it is the same as what you have been using? If it has the same stuff in it and your baby is a little older I would say it can't hurt to try it and see how your baby does. I would say if your baby has had tummy problems I would maybe leave well enough alone and keep the baby on what he/she is use to.

Good luck

T.

I gave their formula to my son who is extremely lactose intolerant. He did very good (no spitting up, etc.). I think the quality of their products is excellent!

We have tried the Target brand diapers and we do not like them at all. Our son is 10 months old and they do not hold well at night in any terms. My son will wake up with wet clothes and soaked bed from the diapers. At frist we thought that we were not getting the diaper on correctly but this is not the case. The wetting has continued to occur. We have send what we have left to the sitter and she uses them during th day. As long as you change them frequently they work somewhat well. At night I would not recommmend them at all. We have not tried the Target brand of formula but have used the Sams club -Members Mark brand and it works well with him. It is the same as Enfamil and is half the price with a much larger can. Hope you find this information useful.

Thanks.

We use the Wal-Mart brand (Parent's Choice) Real Cloth wipes for sensitive skin. They have blue and white packaging. These are the best wipes ever. They don't leave any residue or lent on my daughter's bottom. She complains with the other wipes that they are too "hard". These wipes are gentle and soft. As for diapers, we use Pampers. We tried cheaper brands only to have them leak and make a mess or else give my daughter a rash on her bottom. Hope this helps.

I have tried the diapers and the wipes. I didn't like either. I would suggest Wal-Mart for all three. When I have my absolute preference (if money were no object), I use Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers, WalMarts Parent's Choice regular wipes, and Wal-Marts formula.

I've never used target brand, but i used parent's choice which is Wal-mart's brand of diapers and I think they're great. They work better than pampers, and huggies. I also used thier brand of wipes and had no problems there either.

i use target brand diapers and wipes on my 16 month old. i actually like the target brand wipes (fresh scent) better than the name brand wipes. They are not as stiff as the other types of wipes. I started using target diapers when he started wearing 3's and haven't used any other brand since. i think they get the job done and they do not leak so i'm happy with that. the only reason why i haven't started my 3 month old in these diapers is because i'm still using diapers from my shower, or else he would be wearing them too! i do not know anything about the formula though. i would really recommend you try all of them though because it will save you alot of money in the long run :)

I tried the diapers and my son kept leaking out of them, but my cousing uses them with her little girl with no problems. I don't know if the sex of the child would make a difference or not, but they definitely didn't work for me.
I LOVE the Target wipes better than any other brand, name brand or generic. I buy huge boxes at a time of them, so I don't have to make a special trip to Target just for wipes all the time. :)
Never tried the formula, my son was on special formula so I didn't have that choice.

I use target brand diapers and wipes, because they work like huggies and are a lot cheeper. We have used them since my daugter was born almost 3 years ago and have not had any problems. Just the occanally rash that any baby gets. We use aveno and it clears it up in a day. I have not used there formula. She had a digestive problem as an infant and needed specail formula.
