My son is 3 and we are looking for a sports activity for him to get involved with. We live in Garland, but would be willing to go to Plano, Rowlett, Richardson, Dallas, or any nearby city.

Plano has a few options but this is what we did with our three year old girl and she loved it. Super fun. Soccer has the most involvment with the least rules for this age. just kick the ball. It doesn't even have to be in the right direction. There are no scores and everyone gets a trophy.
my 3 yr old played t-ball this spring in sachse. i think they are doing a fall league
The YMCA has good "Small Fry" programs for the little guys! (Our son will be playing T-Ball w/some friends this season).

Hi, I'm the Mom of twin 3yr old boys who lives in Mesquite, TX. I am putting my boys into gymnastics. My husband and I believe it is too early to put them into football, but we thought them working on their balance and agility would help in any sport as they grow older. Please feel free to reach out.

I highly recommend martial arts as a great sport for a young boy to get involved in! It teaches so many life lessons and educates kids about self control over your body (wiggle control) and listening skills; respect, etc!! My son is learning so much more than just how to do combination moves! It's great.
We go to USA Martial Arts at Coit/Spring Creek in Plano. You can try a class for free. There is a Cubs class for 2 1/2-3 yrs old. PM me if you have any questions. Tell them A. Marshall told you about them!
