Does anyone know if there is a twin stroller, side by side, that can actually fit TWO infant car seats. All I can find it tandem models.
Also, in general, what twin strollers, do you recommend?

Your help is very much appreciated.

So What Happened?

Thanks for all your help. I definitely have a better idea of what to get now. Sounds like the Snap n Go is a good and inexpensive stroller to start with and then spend some money on a nice one, once they get bigger.

I don't know of any strollers that are side by side like where they can fit car seats. It's really easier for the other tandem right behind the other. I have this stroller. It's the Eddie Bauer Tandem all terrain baby stroller. you can have the children facing each other when they sit or the other one facing out. you can do a lot to this stroller. Plus why get a cheap stroller. this one will grow. My children were like 3 years old and still fit in this one. This one is a great pick. J.

My twins are 1 now and I couldn't find a side by side stroller that fits 2 car seats. We used the double snap n go which is tandem but it made things so easy. Good Luck!

Hi I am a new mom of twins now 12 weeks ago. We are using the double snap and go for the first year I think or as long as it lasts. After that we got the double bob stroller side by side, but it doesn't fit car seats. It's expensive but it's the best and we will use it for probably 5 years.

I went through over 12 different double strollers. My best advice is go to
www.joggermom.com
and look at all of the strollers. Then email the owner, Kelly, and she can help you with any stroller questions. She is the mom of triplets plus one and everything I know about strollers she told me!! She also lets you test drive the strollers to see which one you like, which one fits in your car, etc. She will know!!

my personal fave is the graco duo glider. i dont have twins but i know that those can fit any two graco car seats. im on my fourth, due in july, and my third is only 15 months old so they will be pretty close in age. i had to get a new double stroller because my old one was so crappy.
also the side by side are very annoying because they dont always fit through every doorway or walkway!! so be careful of that. if you can find one that does than good for you!

The only side by side double that we have come across that will fit two car seats is the EasyWalker. It will still fit through a standard doorway because it staggers the seats (one sits higher on the frame and one sits lower). The only seats it will accept though is the Maxi Cosi. The problem with the front to back doubles is that long wheel base is really difficult to maneuver. Many of our customers with twins opt for the double snap and go for daily errands and buy a nicer side by side that you can walk from home with and throw in the car for longer outings when you would want to take the babies out of their car seats. They will outgrow the snap and go quickly so try to buy used and save the investment for your nicer stroller that you will have until they are 4! We have helped many parents with multiples so feel free to contact us direct and we can answer all your questions. If you are local you can come to our shop and check them out in person.

Best of luck!

I havent heard of any side by sides that will hold infant carseats... My girlfriend bought a Graco duo glide and i wish i had. Her oldest just turned 4 and he's been in the 96th precentile his whole life so he's big and still fits in it snugly but fits and before she bought it almost a year ago we put our oldest children in it and they were 3 1/2 at the time they both fit and were close to 40 pounds each and she could still turn it one handed around one of the center pieces in the isles of the stroller section. Hope this helps. Congratulations on your twins!

Congrats on your pregnancy! There aren't any side-by-sides that hold two carseats b/c the car seats are too wide. What we ended up doing was buying the tandem frame to hold the carseats (when they were little & used to fall asleep in their carseats). When they got older (4mo.+), we started using a side-by-side. For that, I HIGHLY recommend the BOB. Good luck.

And, on a non-stroller-related topic: hang in there the 1st few months. Twin infants are tough. But, it will all be worth it soon. Congrats, again! =)

When I looked a year ago there were no side by side strollers that fit 2 car seats. I think a stroller like that would be too wide to fit through doorways. You'll need to go with a tandem stroller. What is commonly referred to as a "Snap N Go" stroller frame worked great as it is part of a "travel system" i.e. the compatible car seat fits into the stroller frame so you take the car seat with baby still strapped in and place it in the stroller frame. This makes life much simpler with twins. You can buy the Snap N Go frame used at children's resale shops or on Craigslist for about $20. I wouldn't bother buying one new.

Check out this one!
Kolcraft. It's on the walmart web site. It is red. The seats come with the attachments for the car seats. The seats can face eachother, or outward. You can even take part of it off to make it a single stroller if you want. It is the collest!
