Need Help!!! Office Christmas Gift

Our office Christmas Dinner is Dec. 17th. It is my job to come with a general gift that each person will receive. The requirements are that it needs to be a "family" gift & cost +/- $50 (no more than $70). The guys in my office make $80-120K a year and are not real personable. A generic Visa gift card is out of the question (per my boss). I have thought of restaurant gift cards w/ a small box of candy or something, but I don't know a restaurant that everyone eats at or their individual favorites. I have also thought of a sausage/cheese/fruit & nut basket, as I think most people munch around the holidays. So, do you have any suggestions? What has your office done in the past, that maybe was neat and everyone seemed to enjoy? I have a hard crowd to please...lol, but they are really nice to work with!

What can I do next?

One year we got really cool snow hats and mugs (two hats, two mugs because it was a partner invited Christmas party). I liked that because it's cold where we are and snow hats are always liked.

No one is ever displeased with a Starbucks gift card.
They can use it themselves or re-gift it to someone else.

A Fandango gift card is good because they can use it to purchase movie tickets to their local movie theater.

Vodka. Or possibly a wine basket, with fruit and cheeses.

I like the idea of movie tix. Maybe you can have boxes of movie candy they can grab too.

A coupon for a Honey Baked Ham went over well one year I used it at Easter. So did the smoked turkey I got from another employer. AMC gift cards and a hot chocolate set with two mugs was another gift my family enjoyed. I also like the restaurant gift cards from Chill's, Applebee's, or Ruby Tueday's. Even if you have never tried a place it is a good excuse to go out. You can also get specialty certificates from places like the Omaha Steak Company or a favorite BBQ place. I know Jack Stack here in Kansas City has gift cards and online gift ordering.

My company gives hams from The Honeybaked Ham Co. They are around $50 each and super yummy! If most of the men in your office have families, that might be a nice gift. Good luck!

Coffee. A gift basket of really good House roast from your local coffee joint with a couple of mugs. Get the coffee in whole bean and throw a grinder into the basket too.

Easy and LOVED.

I read some of the other suggestions, since this is a family gift...
I really like the movie ticket idea
I like the idea of a restaurant gift cert, I would suggest a chain restaurant that caters to families (Chili's, TGI Friday's)
I don't like the idea of alcholic beverages, being that it's family orientated.

How about turn it into a game to get everyone into a jolly fun mood. A nice christmas card made out to each family, sitting at the place setting and inside a raffle ticket or a ticket with a number on it. Then have a table full of wrapped gifts, if you want to do White Elephant Gift Exchange or unwrapped if you want to raffle them off. We usually do White Elephant but it's only fun if there are alot of people.
Then you can have lots of fun shopping. Buy expensive bottles of booze, a couple of the gift baskets, some gift cards to really pricey steakhouses, a few funnier ones, like couples massage, chocolate fountain or fondue set, just go nuts shopping.

Don't know how many folks you're needing gifts for - and some might not care for it - or I'd suggest some real country hams!

Food is usually a pretty good idea. My first thought was Topsy's Popcorn...I'm not sure where Old Monroe is but it's a KC legend! They do have a website too if you're unfamiliar with them but they are super yummy and have cute tins for the holidays.

Movie tickets and Honey Baked Ham were also great suggestions. Instead of individual gifts would it be possible to do an extravagant lunch as their gift? You could send out "invitations" letting them know it's their holiday gift luncheon or something to it and if you spent $50 a plate it would be a super awesome, extrvagant lunch! Maybe they could even invite their families to come up to that day...it could be catered in office or at a nearby restaurant.

How about a gift card to a online boutique like Red Envelope which has adult and child things so any type of family will benefit. Red Envelope may not be the best idea, but something like it.

Or LL Bean, they have home decor, toys, holiday decor, summer/winter sporting goods, and clothes. Something for everyone.
