What chore do you hate the most?
Mine- DEFINITELY putting away the laundry!!!!!!! Hate doing it! Only 3 people live in my house and I swear I do laundry 3 x's per week... You would think we changed our clothes 3x's per day.

What can I do next?

Good one, Wild Woman... I would say ironing also, but I have no clue how to iron well...... Thank gosh my husband is amazing and does it for me... Or like you, I take it to the dry cleaners :)

I don't mind washing the clothes, I don't mind putting them in the dryer and I don't mind putting them up. It's that middle step... folding. I hate to fold clothes.

I would say ironing except I don't do any.
If something requires ironing - we don't buy it.
Does ANYONE like cleaning toilets?
If I could afford to have someone come in to clean ONE THING on a regular basis - it would be the bathrooms.

Cleaning the bathrooms, especially the toilet area. There are 4 penises in my home, and none of them have good aim.

ETA: I don't hate ironing, but i don't have time to do it. So, I pay $1.29/shirt to take my husband's shirts to be washed and pressed. Well worth it!

I hate cleaning all together... But the top 3 that I hate the most (In no particular order)...

1) Putting away the laundry
2) Washing the dishes (No dishwasher so everything is washed by hand... by me...)
3) (And this isn't really cleaning related) Giving kiddo a bath... Hubby and I argue (Not seriously - More like competitively whine) over whose turn it is. Kneeling on the tile floor is just so darn uncomfortable

I refuse to iron. My dry cleaners loves me for the bags I leave for pickup every Tuesday and Friday. I send all of hubby's shirts and pants and my nicer clothes.

I do laundry daily for the 3 of us and I can handle that. I have a lot of cold water, delicate things.

ok mopping the kitchen floor, It's ceramic tile and i hate it. that was goign to be a tie with dusting but i just don't dust much and when i do I flick it around with a feather duster.

with all the disposable wipes and stuff i'm ok with the toilet. thinking back to the days of actually using a RAG to mop up the pee and then putting that in with other clothing to be washed YUCKA!!

I make the kids put away laundry, it isn't perfect but it's out of my sight.
So i guess my other chore i hate is picking all the dang Debris up off the couch and the floor and the table and the chairs. I live with Peanuts characters and all of them are named PIGPEN. but floors still win.

Putting the laundry away, because we have too many clothes, and when the laundry is all done there is not enough room in the drawers and closets for all of it. I get very frustrated trying to squish everything in. Each season I go through and cull the clothes that don't fit or nobody wears, but we all still end up with too much.

I hate laundry. There are 5 of us, my husband works two jobs, and my boys (2 of them) both play after school sports. I do AT LEAST 2 loads a day. I don't understand it.
Thankfully the boys are old enough to get their own clothes put away.
Although last night I did 3 loads and the hampers were all clear. Told the boys to clean their rooms today and now my stupid hamper is full again! ARGH!
Now...to train them to do dishes!!

I have two least favorite:

1) Putting the laundry away. My husband typically does the part of putting it in the washer/dryer (mostly because he runs out of socks or underwear first), but we both fold and put it away.

2) Putting the groceries away. I don't mind going to the store that much, but I really don't like putting the food away. It's like grocery shopping is a 2 part chore.

I hired cleaners to come in and do the regular basics, otherwise cleaning the bathroom would be at the top.

As far as ironing goes, we are fortunate that we don't need to dress up for work so ironing is infrequent.

In general, those things that are not noticed if you do them, but are noticed if you don't - like cleaning the blinds, or dusting, washing dusty curtains, or pulling weeds. While I dislike all chores, at least the other ones have a *temporary* gratification of being done, even if for a moment.

Not sure this is a chore, but I hate putting together the weekly meals, and thus, making the shopping list. The one thing I hate to hear more than anything is WHAT'S FOR DINNER? I hate having to come up with ideas for dinner, especially at this busy time when both my girls have sports and we have practice or a game almost every night of the week. When I ask for input from everyone all I get is "I don't know".

I don't necessarily mind cooking if I've planned a meal and I've shopped for everything and we have all the ingredients. I hate it when we don't have doodle in the house, I gotta take a kid somewhere in 45 minutes and I've gotta come up with a halfway decent meal for 4 on the fly.

My mom used to tell me she hated it when as kids we constantly asked, "what's for dinner". Paybacks Mom... I hope you're happy, lol!

Laundry I wont do because it is in the basement... Yep I am 23 years old and my biggest fears in life (other than ds getting hurt) are the dark and stairs to a basement... You wanna see this momma win a marathon make the whole thing stairs to a basement and make it dark... I will win every time!

Dishes is probably number 1 followed extremely close by laundry. My husband and oldest son are supposed to be responsible for the dishes and I'm responsible for laundry with family help collecting it and putting it away. I said "supposed to be" for a reason. I still end up doing it all myself. We're a family of 5 so it's quite a lot of laundry and dishes!
My more practical most hated thing is yard work. I break out in rashes and hives and asthma attacks from our yard so it's not my job *at all*. So it's my most hated for that reason but I don't have to do anything with it so it doesn't exactly count ;)

Ironing. I think it's the biggest waste of time.

If you just neatly fold or hang and put away clothes immediately after they come out of the dryer, you really don't have to deal with much in the way of wrinkles anyway. So I'm religious (read: anal) about it. I know, I know, not everyone has time to do put clothes away immediately every time. I just loathe ironing so much that I will schedule in laundry at a time when I know I will have time to fold and put away afterwards. And for the rare occasion I do end up running off to a work meeting and my blouse has a few wrinkles, I have found that spraying a little water and taking a hair dryer to it works just fine. So much easier than getting out the board and waiting for the iron to heat up!

Well, everything's been said! ;)

I love to fold clothes. I sit on the floor, do some leg stretches, make neat little stacks of everything, etc. I don't care to put them away, but it goes a lot quicker by the load (i.e. 2 minutes) than leaving them all stacked up on top of the hamper until there are six loads...and then no one can lift the lid to put their dirty clothes in so I end up with either a bunch of dirty clothes on the ground by the hamper or someone TRIES to sneak something into it and all my nice, clean, meticulously folded clothes fall into the dirty clothes.

On that note, I don't actually like DOING the laundry, but I like it even less when I don't, because then my husband will put the socks in with the jeans and my nice shirts in with the towels.

I like to clean...it's exercise, and it's rewarding. The cleaning chores I really DON'T like are cleaning blinds and fans. Yuck.

I used to hate cleaning the shower until I realized that an SOS pad was obviously designed to clean the shower. ;)

And the only reason I own an iron, apparently, is to iron those little perler beads together for my kids.

I actually detest vacuuming because it takes me a very long time to recover. My vacuum is light but with all the pushing and pulling plus bending down and using tools etc. my body hates me by the time I'm done. Luckily I only have to vacuum 3 of the 4 rooms in my house well not including when I occasionally vacuum my kitchen/hallway which is tiled.

Ha, even the word "chore" makes me cringe. I can't stand trying to keep the hard floor surfaces clean, primarily in the eating area. I love being barefoot, but the floor accumulates crumbs and spilled gunk like a magnet. Yuck. I hate cleaning that, baseboards being dusty, and folding laundry. Right up there on top of the list is un-making beds, washing ALL the linens, and re-making three large beds. UGH! I'm sore for the whole next day.
