I am expecting baby #2 in February and I would love to find a infant CPR class in my area. I live in Southlake.

What can I do next?

Hi A.,

I was just going to e-mail you and tell you about the Nesting Place, classes by Kay Willis but I see that she responded to you already. She's got my vote.

Good luck and Congrats.

A.,

I teach an infant safety and cpr (4hr) class that is very comprehensive. You can have the class either in a group setting or privately and choose the date and time from a wide selection of availability. I am American Heart Assoc certified as is all of my nursing educator staff and we are only a stones throw away from you in Grapevine. For more information please see my ____@____.com
or call 877-625-6803.

Most hospitals that offer birthing classes also offer infant CPR. The Red Cross also offers the class- about 20 minutes from Southlake (Sylvania exit from 121 south)

Kay at the Nesting Place also has my vote. We took our child birth class and infant CPR class with her.

Congratulations and good for you!

Harris Methodist Hospital, Fort Worth offers it with their parenting classes. I would also check with the hospital where you plan to deliver.

Best wishes!

I took one at Baylor in Grapevine. This is where I delivered, so not sure if you have to be delivering there or you can just take it. I don't see why you couldn't just take it. You could also check the hospital where you will be delivering. With my first child I took one at NOrth Hills Hospital so I am sure most hospitals offer it.
