I used the Preg Perego Aria. Today I was at a store that sold high end strollers. I can't help but lust after the Vista, Uppababy. But do we really need to spend $1000?

What can I do next?

I love our Maclaren and will never buy another brand of stroller ever! It does the job and does it well. :)

chicco lightway stroller--$125. Folds a bit smaller than a full size stroller, reclines nearly flat, storage underneath, longer handles, super smooth and easy to steer even with one hand, five-point harness, can use from newborn till 45lbs. The best stroller I've ever had.

I have a racing stroller, i LOVE IT. i walk alot and roller blade so this thing is a life saver, plus it has storage on the bottom for if i go shopping when i walk. I just put 50 dollars worth of groceries in it. It has three bike tires and a washable seat. I got it at academy for a little over a hundred, since ive bought it though ive seen new ones that the front tire spins in a circle for turning (id much prefer that)

I have a Zooper Twist umbrella stroller that I love, love, love. It's around $200 but totally worth the money in my opinion. But I wouldn't pay more than that for a stroller. My neighbor has a $900 stroller that is so not worth it. It takes up the entire back of the car and is horrible for traveling. Sure it looks nice but not practical. My money is better spent else where.

I've used my Bugaboo Frog for over 6 years now. My youngest has finally grown out of it (well, she still fits, but she's 5 and doesn't need it anymore!).

As I recall, with all the bells and whistles it cost around $1000. TOTALLY WORTH IT. We have used the heck out of that stroller - we've taken it across volcanic rock fields in Hawaii, gone through snow drifts in the Sierras, walked on the beach, navigated through the mall... and after more than 5 years, it is still as sturdy as ever! I've washed the fabric many times, and it has never faded, stretched, or any of that. It still looks new.

With my first daughter, we bought one of those crappy Graco travel systems. Within 3 months it squeaked, shimmied, and in general was falling apart. After doing some quick math, I figured that if I just bought a good stroller to start with, it would pay for itself within a year or two! And it has. =)

I'm not sure what type of stroller you're looking for, but I LOVE my Chicco lightweight umbrella stroller. It's wonderful! I think it was somewhere in the price range of 60 dollars at Babies R Us.. A steal in my book!
