How do you get gum that was left in clothing off of the inside of a dryer? I used a scrubby sponge and Goo Gone but there is still some baked on the inside.
There is something about the oil in peanut butter that desolves gum. I used it on my car when someone put gum in my lock. My mom used it in my hair several times. It really works. Good luck.
Try some peanut butter. I know I have used it in hair and on clothing and it works great. If not try a scraper and scrape it out. Good luck. Have a great day.
That has happened to me before. I took a credit card or other plastic card and scrapped it from the surface and then used simple green to get the remaining sticky off. Hope this helps.
I put some oil, like vegetable oil or corn oil, on a paper towel and wipe at it. It usually comes right off. I would definitely wash a load of towels afterwards because the oil residue will be left on the suface, and the towels will take care of that.
I scraped and used Goo Gone as much as I could. I still have a quarter size spot that won't come off. It doesn't come off on the clothes so I just left it. If you get some good responses, I'll be trying them.

I'm not sure how well it would work, but I would put a wet towel in the dryer and give it enough time to get steamed. this may help it be moist enough to come off. This is just off the top of my head.

I just went through this myself. My 13 yo leaves things in his pockets and this last time, it was GUM. Use an ice cube to freeze each spot. Then take a butter knife and pry it off. Good luck. This takes forever but it will eventually come off.
