Any suggestions for a gift idea for our friends who watched our son for 2 days & nights while we had baby #2? Willing to spend up to $150. We will forever be in debt to them and are very thankful since we have no family nearby. I was thinking either gift cert to nice restaurant or a big gift basket.

What can I do next?

I always love the gift basket idea. The kind you make yourself, you can personalize it to their likes so easily!
A movie night basket with popcorn, a few dvd's, etc
A winter's night basket with a bottle of wine or hot chocolate, a nice blanket
A gourmet basket full of goodies
The ideas are endless, make it personal to them.
I truly understand the importance of celebrating those we have around us that support us. You are blessed to have such people in your life!

I think a gift certificate would be very nice or dinner and a movie.

Gift baskets always look nice, but I notice a lot of the items never get used. Personally I would love a gift certificate to dinner and a babysitter free of charge. The only way I would do a gift basket is if I made it myself with stuff I know they would use.

Think about what your friends like and put together your own little 'basket' of goodies- I can always use a Starbucks card, lol, and I think movie passes and a gift certificate to a nice local restaurant is always a good choice.
