yes, google it to see instructions (or i included a link to one site below). I use a paper towel roll as the center beam. And use rubber bands to hold each individual rolled diaper together (to keep it rolled up)...I used to use sticky tape to keep each diaper rolled up...yeah, it didn't work...the tape would always come undone.

Just make a big enough base of rolled up diapers...then secure all those tightly with a big rubber band or string yarn -- two or three ties. You want the base to be extremely secured. You can tie a wide ribbon around the base to hide the rubber bands. I always add a cute little teether toy or small teddy bear (pink or blue) on the top of my 2-tier diaper cakes. and i add little baby socks and clip to the edges of the tiers -- as more decoration (sometimes if I can find them I clip the socks with little pink or blue clothespins - i can find these at party stores). I also stick a big gift bow (pink or blue) in the front of the 2nd tier. anyway...it's always fun to make. and every mom needs more diapers! make sure you tell her what size they are! Newborn or stage 1.

I make them for everyone I know who is having a baby. they are so easy and really cute. I use baby socks, spoons, teether toys, etc... as decoration. I use receiving blankets or clothe diapers to secure the rolled diapers. I just fold them up and then wrap them around the diapers and pin. Then just stick all the decorative stuff in so it peeks out all around the cake. A small rattle or tub toy works well as the cake topper, too. Have fun with it!

google it. I found instructions online for. It turned out georgous! I just bought stuff from the 99 cents store and a bunch of rubber bands. Just a hint, buy more ribbon than you would ever think that you would use....trust me, you will use it.

I just made one for my friends baby shower. A little imagination can go a long way and be cost effective.

I started with a cardboard cut-out from a box and cut it into a large circle to determine how large I wanted the cake.
Then I bought size 2 diapers and made sure they were mostly white (Huggies) you will use 40 or more.
Decorate the bottom of the cake (cardboard) with tissue paper (pink or blue).
Take an empty roll of paper towels and use that as your center guide.
Get small and large rubber bands.
Start rolling the diapers to where the bottom of the diaper is showing.
Seal with rubber bands.
Make one ring around the paper towel in center of cardboard.
Seal with large rubber band around the whole thing and it will keep it in place. Rubber bands should be center.
Plain or yellow are better.
Keep sealing eack ring with the large rubber bands until you get the size your looking for.
Continue this for the next two tiers.
When you are done you can decorate.
I used onsies and rolled them like the diaper and replaced some diapers in the cake with them throughout.
I also bought ribbon to drape around the three tiers and made bows to hide the rubber bands.
I also went to Hobby Lobby in the wedding section and bought small tiny flowers and put them in between each diaper at the base.
got some wash cloths. Small baby items and stuck them througout or layed them on the edge of the tiers.
For the topper I bought knitted booties and layed them on top with some of the tiny flowers sticking out. It was a huge hit and made a great center piece. My cost was $40.
I made sure I was getting good deals and it was cost effective.
The only thing I paid full price for was booties and the diapers. I also got to use the left over diapers for my baby.
Hope this helps. I have pictures if you would like to see them. E-mail ____@____.com
