Funny story~my DD was born in May and my MIL decided to go on a mission and pick the name so she picked Mae and she and my husband worked so hard to convince me that should be her name. Well I could never name my May BD girl Mae.....it seemed corny ~ so my suggestion not Mae in May. Good luck what ever you pick!

Well you certainly have a lot of suggestions. If I had to choose from all the M s I kinda like Michelle. Sorry but I am a little sick of Mackinzie and Mallory. Way too common. My daughter is Natalie Kathryn but 2 names that I had in mind for her were Josie (Never found a middle name) or Kathryn Jo. I ended up with Natalie because I was watching something on Natalie Wood and Kathryn is a family name. Growing up with a name like R., I wanted something a little more common for my kids without being overly done. My son is Jack Michael. You could always go the way of the stars and chose something like Apple or Blanket. Just Kidding.

Here is my question... Why are you going with what everyone is saying by going with an 'M' name? (As this only makes me think of the T.V. show 'Charmed' and how all the girls/ sisters had names that started with a 'P'. A bit too much in my own opinion and no offense by any means.

Go with what you like and that feels right when you see this beautiful baby girl~ she's worth her own 'identity'.

My guess is this: When you are holding her, an 'M' name just may not suit her.

We had a couple of names lined up for my son, but when I held him, I knew what his name would be as it hit me when he was in my arms.

Look up the top 20 names of the year online and then make sure you don't pick from that!! You don't want your daughter to be one of 3 Mia's or 2 Mackenzies in the same preschool class do you? Go for something that has meaning for you (although I personally like Marianne and May, Morgan and Malia...)

How fun! I have all boys, so I enjoy dreaming up or sharing girl names.

How 'bout Maize (May-Zee) or Mae?

If you want to go with a non-M name, we loved the names Caelan (shay-lynn) and Avery, with Joy for a middle name.

Enjoy finding the perfect name for your little princess :)

The names you have already picked seem like old fashion wise names to me. Strong. I myself like Marley. But if you go away from the M's. Strong names for girls I think of Emma, Emily, Clare, Samantha. Good Luck, it will just come to you honest. My Son just had a boy and I wanted Griffin so they changed the spelling and named him Gryffin Alexzander. Different Uh? Congrats on your new blessing.

Congrates and Goodluck :)
By the way... don't stress it my kids basically named themselves. The name of each just kind of came to me and it stuck (and fits if you look up meanings)
