Anyone Used PJ Comfort Breast Pump?

I have a 7 week old who had some feeding issues. I spent some time with our hospital's lactation consultants and each one sadi that the Avent ISIS IQ was worth the money and they felt it would work as well for me as the hospital grade pump. It is designed to me more like breast feeding and you can adjust it to how you like it to "pump." I am not sure if you have used other pumps or not. This one does not feel as strong, but you don't need to feel the "hard pull." I think it was about $300. If you buy some baby things at Baby's R Us you will get a 15% off coupon that you can use to buy it. Be sure to get on their mailings to get coupons. Hope this helps.

I used the medela pump & style advanced & due to my daughters pre-maturity & my need to go back to work immediately after my extended bed rest before my daughtes birth i never nursed her--i used the hospital pump for 3 months while she was in the nicu & the medela after that for 12 months--my daughter had only breast milk, but she was fed through a bottle--will be using that same pump for future children............working on right now!

I use the Medela Pump in Style, it is great. Good suction, quick, and you can pump both breasts at the same time. The pump is around $300, but worth the expense. I tried two other pumps before the PNS because I did not think it was necessary to spend the money. I was wrong.

I know this is much too late for you, but I actually have a JJ comfort breast pump after hearing about it on e podcast I listen to. I have only had good things to say about it. I pumped and a bottle or 2 a day for my son for 18 months with it. The only time I had a small problem with it I contacted the company and it was immediately fixed. The company is very small and I have had direct contact with the founder any time I have had a question which has been nice. I am not going to start using it with my second baby. I have never used another pump but really really like the one I have.

if you're interested I have a Medela pump in style backpack style that I used with both kids a few times. I never went back to work so there wasn't any need for it except for rare occassions. Anyway, I just pulled out all the pieces and was preparing to sell it. If you're interested in purchasing it for $100 contact me.

I've never heard of PJ comfort pump but I do know that if you get a note from your doctor and take it to your local health department they will send you one for free. This is what I used and never had a problem. Good luck with breastfeeding.

Haven't heard of that brand. I used Ameda Purely Yours. You can buy them for around $150-200 range. I first started with a cheaper brand I purchased at WalMart for $40 and it wasn't even worth the money. I had very limited time to pump at work and it would take forever with the cheaper pump. The time it saved me was definetly worth the money!
